Paper Trails is a podcast series dedicated to picking apart the UNC paper classes scandal. UNC provided around 5 million pages of documents to former federal prosecutor Kenneth Wainstein for the ongoing investigation, 215,000 of which have been released to the public. Embroiled in a scandal that few students really understand and whose consequences are not clear, Paper Trails seeks to analyze Wainstein’s investigation, discrepancies he may have missed, and the university’s response to federal and NCAA allegations. The NCAA’s charges are extremely broad. It’s hard to foresee the future, but we want to do our best to tackle it.
